At Roblox we sometimes hear from users that they've "hacked" (see [[I Got "Hacked"]] for more) and that their password has been stolen. No-one can steal your password. You can give your password to someone else (a really, really bad idea) or you can use an easy to guess password (like "12345" or "starwars"), but your password cannot be stolen.

Here's why: Roblox encrypts every password it gets before saving it. We do not save your password in "clear text" ever. Even Builderman does not and cannot know your password. That's why Roblox only has a password reset feature - when you forget your password, you can reset your password with a new one, but Roblox cannot send you your old password because it doesn't know what it is.

There are no scripts or models or hacks that can let someone see your password on your page. If someone tells you that there is, it's likely a scam and the person is trying to get you to panic and give them your password.
